Trong lịch sử Việt Nam, Nguyên phi Ỷ Lan là hình tượng tiêu biểu cho trí tuệ và bản lĩnh của người phụ nữ. Từ một cô gái thôn quê, bà trở thành Nguyên phi của vua Lý Thánh Tông, sau này là Linh Nhân Hoàng thái hậu, từng hai lần thay vua điều hành đất nước. Nhân Ngày Phụ nữ Việt Nam 20/10, câu chuyện về cuộc đời và sự nghiệp của bà là dịp tôn vinh những đóng góp to lớn của phụ nữ đối với lịch sử, văn hóa và sự phát triển của dân tộc.
